Echoes and Mirages

This series of paintings is like a walk through the various landscapes, places and spaces.
I rethink the meaning of the "landscape". I carry in my mind for some time the scenery that I have seen once. I visit the forest and later the view of the forest visits my mind. The scenery appears and unfolds on my canvas as a mirage, a more abstract and not so identifiable image. I try to reduce the impression of a real landscape, and to concentrate on the light and space only.
